Shengli Oil Field is one of the largest oil field in China. Since 1950s, The city which is called Dongying was formed, most of the citizens are working for the oil field. The museum is originally a basketball gym. According to the renovation plan, the space will be monumentally used for the museum. Cilents request 3 levels design and themes of these spaces are already arranged. As a result of that, the design concept would be similar like geological stratification in the oiled field. The metaphor would enhance the whole visiting experience.
